I’m writing this blog from an airport, which seems appropriate for the topic. What’s on deck for the Event 360 team in 2018? Lots and lots of events all across the country.
As we enter the new year, we have a roster of more than 40 events which will take place during an event season that stretches from early March to mid-November. We’ll be traveling the country to produce the Florida AIDS Walk & Music Festival, the Victory Ride to Cure Cancer, the Shatterproof Rise Up Against Addiction 5K series, the MMRF Team for Cures 5K series, the MuckFest MS mud-obstacle series, the Susan G. Komen 3-Day series, the DAV 5K series, and the Ride for AIDS Chicago. That’s hundreds of sites to secure for festivals, pit stops and finish lines. That’s almost one thousand miles of route to plan. And it’s our genuine pleasure to work on behalf of these wonderful organizations to create smooth, successful events that generate hundreds of thousands of dollars for their missions.
What else, you ask? We can’t forget about the digital marketing, communications and social media services we’re providing to a half-dozen organizations this year. On behalf of our partners, we’re creating ad campaigns designed to get more participants registered as efficiently as possible. We’re crafting targeted eCommunications campaigns to support 2018 registration and fundraising, and managing social media communities for events to keep participants engaged in the off-season. And that’s all going on now before the event season even begins.
We have a busy year ahead with many miles to travel and this is just the beginning. We look forward to new partnerships this year and even more events to plan and produce in 2019.
