team360 Spotlight: Meet Ryan S.

team360 is an incredible group of people who live and breathe peer-to-peer fundraising events right alongside us. Without this team, we couldn’t produce the 100+ events on our roster each year. Our latest spotlight highlights a team360 veteran, Ryan!

How did you find out about team360? My partner has been friends with Slade (Event 360’s Production Director) for YEARS. Slade was looking for some last-minute talent to fill in the weekend of PanCAN PurpleStride in 2023.

What sparked your interest in signing up? Paid travel, extra Delta miles, and the challenge of something new.

How many events have you worked with team360? Oh boy…16 I think? Lucky!

What are your favorite things about working on team360? That every city and every event is unique in some way. Maybe it’s a beautiful city or site. Maybe the team members are extra silly and fun. Maybe I get to set the route via bicycle, etc.

What would you say to someone who is interested in learning more about joining but hesitant? I was hesitant at first, too. But now I request more and more assignments.

Three words to describe team360? Energetic, friendly, and “on their game” (I know that’s not one word😉)

Have you learned any new skills? Absolutely. Hard skills like how to properly align H-frames. And soft skills like how to get vendors to stick to their commitments on time.

Favorite team360 Memory? Re-designing the walking route for PanCAN PurpleStride Cincinnati the day before the event because of heavy rain and trail damage. 

What three things do you always carry with you on event? Event book, reading glasses, and zip tie holder! Actually, four things. PROTEIN. No five. EXTRA PROTEIN, usually in the form of a rotisserie chicken or food I smuggled out of the Delta lounge.
