We’re excited to introduce this week’s Event 360 Teammate Spotlight. Enjoy this week’s glimpse into the personal and professional life of Tara Preyers!
Position: Field Marketing Coordinator, Susan G. Komen Atlanta 3-Day
Start Year: 2009
What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360? I was a live-in nanny.
Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360? The desire to do something more and to work for an event company and travel.
If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing? Well isn’t that the million dollar question…I might be living in Las Vegas working for a restaurant mogul.
Favorite part of your job? I enjoy working from home, travelling during event season and meeting new people every day!
What do you like to do in your free time? Working out and staying active, shopping, pampering myself and hanging with my new little family!
Most memorable event experience? The 2009 Susan G. Komen Philadelphia 3-Day where our true event expertise was shown and we did everything in our power to provide a safe and memorable event experience even under the worst weather conditions.
You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must see/do/eat list? Even though Royal Oak, Michigan will always be my hometown, I’m going to embrace my new city and speak to Atlanta staples. We would have brunch somewhere, usually someplace new or a favorite like Highland Bakery. Depending on the time of year, a walk in Piedmont Park, a shopping trip at Lenox, or an adventure to Lake Lanier. All things are possible in the South and usually have to do with food!
On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag? Dry shampoo, tall socks, zip ties
One word to describe Event 360? Driven!
