We’re excited to introduce this week’s Event 360 Teammate Spotlight. Enjoy this week’s glimpse into the personal and professional life of Sarah Coniglio!
Position: Director – Event Production
Start Year: 2003
What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360? Production Manager at Eventage
Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360? Having worked with many of the people at Event 360 previously, I knew I would love working with that great team again.
If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing? Traveling the world (more), capturing many photographs along the way and continuing to help small non-profits in accomplishing their missions.
Favorite part of your job? I love working with a great team to plan the events and then the moment when everything comes together. I also love the challenge of when things don’t go according to plan and having to troubleshoot an alternative. When that comes together – even more, my favorite part of the job!
What do you like to do in your free time? Travel, visit with friends and family and photography.
Most memorable event experience? I have many… that include pulling off events in the most crazy of situations (i.e. inclement weather-heat waves and nor’easter storms, government shut-downs etc.), but the most positive event experience was when we did a Closing Ceremony for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day®, right in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. To say the least, it was very challenging to make that happen (a lot of red tape with permitting and logistics) and that moment where it all came together on event day was pretty spectacular!
You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must see/do/eat list? Up to the top of the John Hancock building for panoramic views of Chicago, a visit to the Bean, a trip to the lakefront to see skyline views and the beautiful Lake Michigan and dinner at the Girl and the Goat.
On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag? Pepitas, a Moleskin notebook and my iPhone.
One word to describe Event 360? I can’t just use one- Great people.
