What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360? My career in fundraising started when I canvassed and fundraised for the 2004 presidential election in Washington D.C. It was exhausting and hard, but the excitement behind the cause was exhilarating, and after just a few weeks into the campaign, I knew fundraising was for me.

Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360? Event 360 is made up of great people who have a shared passion for fundraising and enjoy working hard to achieve goals, so the company culture was a natural fit for me.

If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing? Fundraising or doing fundraising support for a cause I believe in.

Favorite part of your job? I’m an out of the box thinker, so I enjoy the problem solving aspect of my work. Event 360’s supportive work environment encourages creative thinking and collaboration in order to deliver great outcomes to our clients, participants and donors.

What do you like to do in your free time? Since I am caught in the orbit of my two active boys (ages 3 and 6), I spend a lot of time outdoors. When I’m not swimming, hiking, or biking, I look for any reason to host a lunch or dinner for family or friends.

Most memorable event experience? For the first time last year, I staffed the Susan G. Komen Washington, D.C. Race for the Cure®. It was amazing to see the Washington Mall come alive from dark, to dusk, to morning and to see our team in action setting up and breaking down within a matter of days.

You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must see/do/eat list? I am a fairly new resident of Clearwater, FL so the beach is still a novelty. When friends and family come to visit I take them to Honeymoon Island which is the beach the locals go to instead of Clearwater Beach. It’s a state park with a beautiful natural beach where the forest begins as soon as the beach ends.

On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag? Chocolate covered almonds for sustenance, my water bottle, and my Leatherman.
