Position: Crew and Volunteer Coordinator, Susan G. Komen 3-Day®
Start Year: 2007
What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360? Corporate Event Planner
Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360? I walked the Komen 3-Day in 2005 and waited for a job to open. I interviewed as soon as it became available and the rest is history.
If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing? I would be a nurse. After I received a Marketing degree, I went back to school for Nursing. I have two years left but no plans of going back any time soon.
Favorite part of your job? Working on events and the flexibility it brings.
What do you like to do in your free time? Run, row, shop (when I’m not taking the kids to football, cheer, baseball, soccer and dance).
Most memorable event experience? My first event as staff I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and everyone rubbed my belly as they walked out of camp. It was a long weekend.
You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must see/do/eat list? Downtown Atlanta, Sweetwater Brewery and Little 5 Points.
On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag? Chapstick with sunscreen, water and hand sanitizer.
One word to describe Event 360? Exciting.
