We love to pull the curtain back so you can get to know the passionate, fun, kind, knowledgeable people who call Event 360 home. In June, we featured Account Manager, Laura Ferenchik. Today, we can’t wait for you to learn all about Hanna!
Name: Hanna Orchard
Position: Event Production Coordinator
Start Year: 2025
What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360? Before Event 360, I worked as an Office Assistant at a law firm in downtown Chicago. I gained a lot of experience organizing broad goals into detailed timelines to make sure nothing fell through the cracks!
What brought you to Event 360? I experienced Event 360 as a participant long before joining the team professionally! My family walked in the Susan G. Komen San Diego 3-Day, which Event 360 planned and produced, for over 10 years, due to our family’s close connection to breast cancer. Some of these years I walked, some I was a volunteer crew member, some I cheered on the participants from our cheer station. As a participant, I was always VERY impressed with the planning and dedication put into these events. Now I know that there’s even more to it than I could have possibly imagined! A family member involved with the 3-Day joined Event 360 briefly as their “dream job,” and loved it, of course. Years later, they sent me a link for a job opening in Volunteer Communications, and I applied!

If you weren’t working at Event 360, what would you be doing? I would most likely be working somewhere in the nonprofit field. My passion is helping others, either through an organization directly associated with a cause, or through a company helping that organization flourish!
What do you like to do in your free time? I like to do a little bit of everything, and finish nothing! I have a lot of hobbies that I cycle through, such as embroidery and guitar, but I also love the outdoors, and try to make time for backpacking, rock climbing, and anything else that connects me with nature. I love music, and frequenting concerts or live shows in my area.
Most memorable event experience? This memory comes from the participant side of things many years ago, before I staffed events. My mother got on stage at the Komen San Diego 3-Day in front of over 2,000 people and shared our family’s story and history of breast cancer. I was familiar with this, of course, but seeing others around me getting emotional reminded me that these stories mean something to others who have also gone through the same thing. What REALLY stood out to me was catching a glimpse of a staff member to the side sharing that emotion. It struck me to see the Event 360 team (before I knew who they were!) truly dedicated and sharing the reason we were all there. Now that I’m behind the scenes, I get to be the staff member shedding a tear while listening to someone share their heartfelt testimony!
You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must-see/do/eat list? On a sunny day, we’d take the long bike trail down to Oceanside, CA to enjoy the beach! We’d of course stop at Harbor Fish and Chips and get some ice cream next door. We’d stay for a bonfire, and on the way home, we’d stop by Harlow’s for a drink.
On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag? Sunglasses, SNACKS! and lots of sunscreen.
One word to describe Event 360? Real!
