Today, our Teammate Spotlightshares the life and mind of our Purchasing Manager, David (Kos) Koslovsky! Don’t forget to follow along as Kos takes over the Event 360 Instagram tomorrow for a sneak peek of a day in his life.

Name: David (Kos) Koslovsky

Position: Purchasing Manager

Start Year: 2017

What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360?

Before I got hired at Event 360 I was a man with many jobs. At the time I worked as an operations coordinator for a food app company, I was also a House Manager at a local 3,000 capacity concert venue and freelanced some music festivals.

Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360?

It was an interesting opportunity to do something in the event world that was different from what I had been doing.

If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing?

If I had to work, I probably would be doing some other type of event production/logistics work.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time I play in a rock band (we’re called Indoorsmen you can find us on IG at @indoorsmenband). I also enjoy playing basketball, cooking and going on hikes with my dog Moose.

Most memorable event experience?

MMRF Chicago 2021. It was one of our first events after COVID, and our tent vendor ran incredibly late. The first truck was three hours behind and didn’t have most of the important pieces. Next truck didn’t show up for another three hours. The truss they brought did not come with the hardware, so we couldn’t use it. I called every vendor in town trying to come up with alternate plans and eventually made a change in the tents to replace the truss. Despite the major delays and vendor issues, we managed to pull it off and the client was happy.

You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must-see/do/eat list?

I’m from St. Louis, MO so here are a few things I’d recommend doing/eating:

  1. Pappy’s BBQ best in the city!
  2. Mayo Ketchup Puerto Rican/Dominican/Cuban food, SO GOOD (fun fact it’s near the baseball stadium, so often the visiting teams order food from here as one of their catering options).
  3. Spend some time in Forest Park. It’s one of the biggest city parks in the country and has several free attractions (Zoo, Art Museum, History Museum, Science Center)

On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag?

Multi tool, gloves, and a granola bar.
