What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360?

Before working at Event 360, I worked at Nestle Health Science as their Social Media and Influencer Specialist for Nature’s Bounty. In that role, I partnered with Susan G. Komen to manage their first collaboration influencer campaign and Nature’s Bounty is now a sponsor for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day, whose social accounts I now manage. It’s truly a full-circle moment!

Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360?

The main thing that brought me to Event 360 was the company culture and commitment to do good in this world. It’s incredible to be surrounded by good people in the workplace who are all aligned when it comes to work-life balance, advocacy, and excellence.

If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing?

If I wasn’t working at Event 360, I would be doing freelance social media management for local businesses full-time. I love all things content creation and it’s really special to see a brand grow in the digital space.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I’m a flying trapeze artist and train multiple times a week. I just love the feeling of soaring through the sky and pushing my boundaries day in and day out. It’s truly a magical feeling and all of my problems disappear when I’m 30 feet in the air. Besides flying trapeze, I love to make oil paintings, lift weights, travel around the world, and spend time with my family and friends.

What are you most looking forward to working your first event next month?

I’m looking forward to the adrenaline rush of being on-event. From meeting my coworkers to making fun content to interacting with 3-Day walkers and crew and being a part of something so much bigger than myself, I honestly can’t wait. I love to visit new cities, and this is such a special way to do it. And I get to wear pink accessories for three days straight so that’s the cherry on top!

You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must see/do/eat list?

If I were to show off my hometown on Long Island to a friend who has never been before, we’d start the morning with bagels before heading to Fire Island for a beach day. For dinner, I’d take them to my favorite Colombian restaurant, Gallo, and insist that they try the green avocado sauce and sangria. We’d probably spend the next few days flying trapeze, eating New York pizza, visiting the wineries out east and heading to the city. For a guest, I’ll visit Times Square.

On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag?

I’m guaranteed to be carrying a belt bag with my phone, a few portable chargers, and Bigelow Spiced Chai Tea (I carry it with me everywhere).

How do you practice self-care during a busy season?

I practice self-care with meditation and rest. It’s so important that I listen to my body, and meditation allows me to connect with myself and remember to be present.

One word to describe Event 360 so far?

Balance. I have never worked somewhere that’s so flexible and with people who are so encouraging, inclusive, and dedicated to excellence. The flexibility of the workspace allows me to be my best self both during and outside of working hours. I couldn’t be more grateful to be on board and to work with such incredible people as we do what we can to make this world a better place.
