Morrison

What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360? A brief one-year job at Six Flags Magic Mountain. I was initially contracted to design the sound for their Fright Fest mazes. After that was completed they hired me in the technical services division repairing broken audio/video systems around the park. Before Magic Mountain, I worked for 26 years in the film industry mixing soundtracks for TV and Feature films.

Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360? A call from Rick Winquest’s brother, Ed, letting me know of an opening.

If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing? A campground host.

Favorite part of your job? I love the variety. From servicing generators and shipping, to helping design obstacles and modifying trailers.

What do you like to do in your free time? Most any type of outdoor recreation. Specifically, off-road motorcycles, snow skiing, golfing, boating, wilderness camping, and playing music (though playing music doesn’t necessarily need to be outdoors).

Most memorable event experience? I don’t get to go on event much, but I worked on a couple MuckFest® MS events driving a water truck. It was particularly fun spraying unsuspecting participants.

You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must see/do/eat list? That depends on the friend. It could include going to the beach, kayaking, biking, golfing, hiking, Dodger game, or perhaps a trip to the Getty Museum or a musical at the Pantages. All would include food and beer.

On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag? Gaff tape, Swiss Army knife, and a flashlight.

One word to describe Event 360? Non-stop. It doesn’t take much to find something that could use some help.
