What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360? Just before coming to work full time for Event 360, I was remodeling a house with my now husband, Troy – tool belt and all! Also, for the past two years I have been on the tour staff for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day® Series, working on the route.
Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360? The opportunity to do something BIG. Every single little piece comes together to make a huge impact. I’ve always wanted to play a part in that.
If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing? Working on the job site with Troy. I would love to have a working farm/bed and breakfast one day.
Favorite part of your job? Playing a part in making a difference; and the incredible team I get a chance to work with.
What do you like to do in your free time? Stand up paddle, surf, hike, cook, be OUTSIDE, and collaborate with Troy on our next housing endeavor/design idea.
Most memorable event experience? There is one every day on event! Clearing a site of “unmentionables” before the walkers or crew arrived. Plastic gloves and trash bags are always stocked in my minivan… and hand sanitizer.
You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must see/do/eat list? Austin has so much to share! SEE the Capitol Building, the bats at sunset on the Congress Bridge, live music. DO SXSW. EAT at Curra’s, Jack Allen’s Kitchen, Salt Lick BBQ, and any food trailer in town.
On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag? Phone charger, sharpie and ChapStick.
