What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360? Waitress, PF Chang’s and Intern, Planned Parenthood Chicagoland Area (true story).
Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360? The role of coach coordinator on the Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk seemed exciting, challenging and purposeful. I fell in love with the event life and the amazing team of people on my very first event.
If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing? Running a small breakfast diner. I am a pretty awesome short-order breakfast cook.
Favorite part of your job? Meeting new organizations and working with them to find out what they want their event(s) to be and then finding the right package of services to help them. I get to meet so many wonderful people in my role and see how their team and our team can come together to pull off some truly amazing events.
What do you like to do in your free time? I love to be outside with my family in our backyard. I enjoy baking and boot camp. (It’s a cyclical pair of hobbies.)
Most memorable event experience? My most memorable event experience was standing on 3rd Street in front of the Capitol at about 10:00 p.m. the night before the Susan G. Komen Washington, D.C. Race for the Cure® and seeing every tent, table and chair in its place waiting for the tens of thousands of people to arrive and thinking to myself: “Here we go!” and “I can’t believe I get to do this.”
You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must see/do/eat list? Honestly? We’d stay close to home and host a cookout with music and games in our backyard.
On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag? Hair tie, KIND bar, Sharpie.
One word to describe Event 360? Team.
