What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360? I was a server and trainer at a brewery in Chandler, Arizona.

Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360? I was very intrigued by working on an event, although I wasn’t familiar with the Susan G. Komen 3-Day® at the time. I also loved the idea of working from home! I didn’t know at the time the life-long friendships I’d make and personal growth I would experience.

If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing? Before I moved to Arizona, I was a private dining coordinator at a restaurant. I loved planning weddings, parties and other special events so I could see myself in that environment.

Favorite part of your job? I love seeing the Komen 3-Day evolve each year from start to finish. It’s incredibly rewarding to work with the Crew and Volunteers and I am blessed to be surrounded by such an inspiring group of people.

What do you like to do in your free time? Spend time with my husband and two little ones, be outside (when it’s above freezing!), relax with a good book or my fave reality shows.

Most memorable event experience? Since my first event experience in 2004, I have had countless memories. It’s hard to name the most memorable, but I always love seeing the children who come to support their family that is participating… wearing pink, holding signs they’ve made, cheering them on. They are the future of this event and it’s awesome to see the youth involved in the fight against breast cancer.

You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must see/do/eat list? I was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area, and there is quite a lot to choose from. From restaurants and bars to downtown areas with local shopping and day spas. Detroit has a lot of history and there are great spots to visit right in the heart of downtown. We could take in a game at one of Detroit’s awesome sports venues, visit one of the casinos and have dinner and drinks at one of the many restaurants. Whatever we’d do, I guarantee it would be a day to remember!

On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag? Sunscreen/moisturizer, folders with my Crew rosters/schedules, a healthy (or not so healthy) snack. Oh and lip gloss, cannot forget the lip gloss!
