We’re excited to introduce this week’s Event 360 Teammate Spotlight. Enjoy a glimpse into the personal and professional life of Aubrey Cushing!

Position: Seattle Field Marketing Coordinator, Susan G. Komen 3-Day®
Start Year: 2012

AC Walks SD 3-Day

What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360? Administrative Assistant.

Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360? My love for the Komen 3-Day, of course! I was already a team captain, training walk leader and a volunteer, but I wanted to expand my reach and be involved on a larger basis.

If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing? Utilizing my degree in Criminal Justice. I’m interested in a variety of fields such as undercover operations, cyber-crimes,  violent offenders and human trafficking.

Favorite part of your job? Developing relationships!

What do you like to do in your free time? Travel, reading, and finding adventure with people I love.

Most memorable event experience? Watching last year’s 3-Day in Seattle happen. It was gratifying to see all the months of work coming together. To see participants I met early in the year thriving and enjoying themselves was a priceless gift.

You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must see/do/eat list? Must see: The San Juan Islands. Must do: Ride to the top of the Space Needle (on a clear day, hopefully) to see 360 views of our gorgeous city, Mount Rainier, the lakes in our area and the beautiful greenery. Must eat: It depends on what you like, but I highly recommend a Seattle dog. It’s a toasted bun, all beef hot dog, cream cheese slathered onto the bread and grilled onions on top. Don’t turn your nose up. The secret ingredients to the deliciousness are rainbows, unicorns and utter joy!

On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag? Lip balm, gum and sunglasses.

One word to describe Event 360? Powerhouse!
