As we ramp up for the start of the 2018 event season, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the very last event we successfully executed in 2017: a concert for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), in honor of World AIDS Day.
This was the first year AHF—the same client for whom Event 360 produces the Florida AIDS Walk—hosted this free, live music event in Miami, Florida. With more than 2,000 people in attendance at the Bayfront Park Amphitheater, the concert looked and sounded fantastic and AHF could not have been happier!
The evening included performances by Ziroq, Becky G, Yandel and Sheila E., as well as a presentation of AHF’s Humanitarian of the Year Award to the Mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulin Cruz. The AIDS Healthcare Foundation has and continues to work closely with Mayor Cruz on providing disaster relief to Puerto Rico, including chartering planes to deliver donated generators to assist with the ongoing power crisis on the island.
AHF also hosted additional World AIDS Day events around the world on December 1, including concerts in Los Angeles and Haiti.
We’ve included a few of our favorite photos below from the Miami concert for a glimpse of the fun and impactful evening. And check out this video from Yandel’s team. What a night!
Here’s to another successful year of producing events that make a difference for our clients and the participants!
