20 Years of Event 360
Event 360 started in November 2002 as the brainchild of Jeff Shuck, Mike Murphy and Tim Brockman, event production experts who had bonded as colleagues and dreamed of setting up shop for themselves.
One day, toward the wrap-up of a project, the three men began to dream about what was next to come. They knew they had a great team and there was so much more good to be done, but they needed a name that represented what kind of company they wanted to be. So on that day, in the back of a tour bus, while the team was wrapping up the event, Murph said, “Look around here! Look around the event! Everything our team did surrounded and cared for the participants and the clients. We had every angle covered—360 degrees. Hey, how about Event 360?” Done! They instantly knew they had the perfect name: Event 360.
In the 20 years since that initial founding, more than 600 people have once called themselves part of the Event 360 family. We consider them to still be family. We’ve made lifelong friendships with staff, clients, participants, volunteers and community members. Together we’ve produced more than 500 events. Big ones. Little ones. Historic ones. And what we’re most proud of is the nearly $1 billion that we have helped non-profits raise for the causes that are so important to them, and to the world.
Through the years, Tim and Mike have continued to lead Event 360 with a steady hand on the rudder and a firm commitment our core values. We have purposefully maintained a reputation of being nice, respectful, and tolerant human beings with a spirit of generosity towards all. It’s important to us. We’ve also got a reputation for being willing to take on difficult challenges. We thrive on it. It’s the challenges we have taken on and conquered with style and that define us and make us valuable to others.
