At Event 360, we work on all sorts of projects — big and small. In fact, you can read more about that here. For five years, we’ve used this blog as our platform to share our experiences and knowledge about our event management. We love what we do!

You may not know that we also have two blogs dedicated to our biggest projects, the Susan G. Komen 3-Day and MuckFest MS, where we focus specifically on the ins and outs of each event. Today, we wanted to introduce you to those.

Event 360 has worked with Susan G. Komen since 2003 to make the Susan G. Komen 3-Day an exceptional and unforgettable experience for everyone involved — from the walkers, crew and volunteers to the beneficiaries. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® is a 60-mile walk for women and men who want to do something huge in the fight to end breast cancer. Net proceeds help support research, scientific programs and community-based breast health and education programs for women and men facing breast cancer.

The 3-Day blog shares the extraordinary and inspiring stories of the 3-Day community. It’s a place to highlight the exceptional people who claim the title of 3-Day walker or crew. On the blog we’re able to call out some of the best wisdom, tips, and great messages we hear from our participants and provide guidance and expertise on how to make the 3-Day journey a powerful one. This includes how to raise (at least) the $2300 fundraising minimum, how to successfully train to be able to walk those (approximately) 60 miles over the course of three days and all the magical and unbelievable on-event experiences. Stop by the 3-Day blog and let yourself be moved by the personal stories of our participants and learn why we will never give up in the fight to end breast cancer.

Since 2012, Event 360 has partnered with the National MS Society to provide a range of event management services from project management, marketing and advertising, communications, event planning, production, and sponsorship activation for the MuckFest® MS series. MuckFest is the fun mud and obstacle 5K for everyone. No special training required. Runners have a blast on mountains of mud and 15+ outrageous obstacles. The event is built for laughs, but it’s also built on a serious mission: to support people living with multiple sclerosis and to bring us closer to a world free of MS. 100% of fundraising dollars go to the National MS Society.

The goal of the MuckFest MS blog is to engage and inspire our registered muckers, potential muckers, donors, volunteers, and spectators. The blog gives us a place to showcase our obstacles and other event-production elements in creative, sharable ways, without the constraints of other social media sites. During the event season, team captain and participant spotlights share fundraising and team building tips and personal stories. We also use our blog to showcase event photos and fun event initiatives, like interviews of our mascot, Puck the Muck Duck. The blog allows us to engage our participants at a deeper level than through a tweet or Facebook post, and we’re excited to expand its reach and increase posting frequency in 2015.

We encourage you to take a look at each of these blogs to get an in-depth look at all that goes on behind the scenes of each production. There’s fantastic insight into producing events of this size and each blog offers a meaningful way to understand each event a little bit better.
