What job did you hold right before you came to work at Event 360?
I have been with Event 360 twice during my career, the first time I was hired, I was a Director of Implementation for a technology company, when I returned for my current position, I was a Sr. Project Manager for a marketing agency.
Was there anything in particular that brought you to Event 360?
Working in the nonprofit space. I always wanted a career I could feel like I was giving back to the community and a cause.
If you weren’t working at Event 360 what would you be doing?
I would probably be working directly for a nonprofit organization.
Favorite part of your job?
Working with my team, the client and project. It is never a dull moment on the Susan G. Komen 3-Day project! Also, we have amazing people here at Event 360, which is one of the reasons for my return.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Spend time with my family and friends. I like to take long walks. Volunteer for organizations I am passionate about. I also enjoy watching my son play football and baseball.
Most memorable event experience?
I think I would have to say my very first 3-Day event that I worked back in 2006. I was in awe of all of the things that went in to producing an event like the 3-Day. I would have never guessed the amount of work, organization and staff it took to produce such an amazing event.
You’re showing off your hometown to a friend who has never been to visit before. What’s on your must see/do/eat list? Downtown McKinney. It is the downtown city square with shops, restaurants and has great street fairs year round. Although I am just 30 miles north of Dallas, the downtown square is still quaint and feels very much like a small town.
On event, what three things are we guaranteed to find in your bag?
Chapstick, water bottle and sunscreen.
