At Event 360 we work hard and play hard. We travel the country going from one event to the next, and in the process we stumble upon some really great places in the cities we work. Be it a restaurant, music venue or book store (to name a few), we have found some must-see attractions and we want to share them with you.
Today, Ann Love, Michigan 3-Day Field Marketing Coordinator, tells us about one of her favorite spots in DC!

Name: National Museum of the American Indian

Full address: 4th St & Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC

What makes this place worth stopping in? This is one of my favorite places in Washington D.C. and I always try to stop by when I’m in town. The exhibits are incredible, covering historic and modern Native American life and traditions. In addition, the “cafeteria” is top-notch. Different food stations feature cuisine traditionally served in each region of the country. There’s venison in the Midwest, fry bread in the southwest, lots of seafood in the east and Alaskan regions. It’s delicious and different than anything you’re going to get in any other museum.

Must see/do/eat/can’t miss? If there’s an event happening, check it out. Traditional dances, drumming, storytelling…they are all amazing.
