At Event 360 we work hard and play hard. We travel the country going from one event to the next, and in the process we tumble upon some really great places in the cities we work. Be it a restaurant, music venue or book store (to name a few), we have found some must-see attractions and we want to share them with you.
Today, Katie Zupancic Wymer, Consumer Marketing Manager with MuckFest® MS, tells us about one of her favorite spots in Chicago!
Name: Do-Rite Donuts
Full address: 50 W Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60601
What makes this place worth stopping in? I’ve been gluten-free for several years, and the only thing I kept craving was a delicious donut. After an informal donut tour around Chicago, my personal favorites are the gluten-free donuts at Do-Rite Donuts. When events start early in the morning, a little sugar kick can give you that little extra boost you need to welcome the first participant to the site. Enter: Do-Rite Donuts and their amazing gluten-free (and wide variety of gluten-filled!) donuts.
Must see/do/eat/can’t miss? If you’re into gluten, go for the cinnamon crunch old fashioned…it looks phenomenal. The maple bacon is also a favorite of my pro-gluten friends. On the gluten-free side, the cinnamon, chocolate, and sprinkles options take the cake.
Anything else? The iced coffee is amazing too!
