The V Foundation for Cancer Research was built on the dream that cancer can one day be defeated. On Saturday, May 19, 2018, the Event 360 team brought to life the very first Victory Ride to Cure Cancer, a new peer-to-peer fundraising event designed to help the V Foundation make that dream a reality. This inaugural event in Raleigh, NC, benefited Duke Cancer Institute, UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Wake Forest Baptist Health Comprehensive Cancer Center, as well as breakthrough cancer research nationwide.

Nearly 500 riders and volunteers raised more than $200,000 and came together in the pouring rain to ride toward the V Foundation’s ultimate goal: Victory Over Cancer®. The multiple routes offered at the Victory Ride took riders through the rolling hills of Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill. Riders rode 30-, 60- or 100-miles knowing that every mile pedaled and every dollar raised will help fund cutting-edge research.

The Event 360 team was proud to offer a full array of services for the Victory Ride, including event planning, on-site execution, volunteer management, digital marketing and social media, event communications, customer service and support, and vendor management.

We look forward to next year and helping the V Foundation grow the Victory Ride into a premier P2P fundraising event.
